2nd Annual USPA Online Juried Show
The board of directors has approved the 2nd Annual USPA Online Juried Show! This year's show will be featured online during the entire month of November, here on the USPA website. Cash prizes to be determined, and winners featured on the website and in the newsletter. First, second and third place prizes as well as honorable mentions will be awarded. The competition will be judged by the incomparable Mary Aslin
The competition is open to any artist who is a current, active member of USPA. There is an entry fee of $25.00 for the first image and $10.00 for each additional image. Up to 5 images may be submitted by an individual artist.
Entries will be accepted October 1-15 of this year and must be original dry pastel, NO OIL PASTELS. No copies from other artists or published materials. Work must be original, completed in the last two years and not shown in any previous USPA Exhibitions. Mixed media will be accepted that is 80% dry pastel. Works done under supervision are not eligible.
Entries can be listed for sale on the USPA website online show and those entries shall be sold through the USPA PayPal account. All of the details, including the entry form are in the show prospectus.

USPA Fourth Annual Exhibition
Our Annual Pastel Exhibition took place at The Cottage Gallery, 1524 South
Coast Highway, Laguna Beach November 4, 2009 through December 13, 2009. There were 48 pastel paintings on display.
The annual reception and award
ceremony took place November 14th. The exhibition was juried by Master Pastellist,

USPA 3rd Annual Members Show at The Esther Wells
Collection
The winners of the U.S. Society of Pastel Artists juried exhibition were
announced Nov. 15, 2008 at Laguna Beach's Esther Wells Collection gallery. The
exhibition will run through Dec. 13. Artist Robin Hall, a member of the California Art
Club, juried the exhibition, at 1390 S. Coast Highway.
